Abstract:
Provided is a movable body charging system that allows greater flexibility in terms of installation location. This movable body charging system (1) is provided with a storage battery (33), a charging connector (34), a first circuit (K1), a second circuit (K2), and a control unit (39). The charging connector (34) is electrically connected to an electric movable body (7) in a detachable fashion. The first circuit (K1) carries out a first charging process to charge the storage battery (33) using direct-current charge power obtained through power conversion of alternate-current grid power that is supplied from a grid power source (6). The second circuit (K2) carries out a second charging process to charge a battery mounted on the electric movable body (7) connected to the charging connector (34) using discharge power discharged from the storage battery (33). The control unit (39) performs control on the first circuit (K1) and the second circuit (K2). The discharge power is greater than the charge power.
