Abstract:
Provided may be a method for sensing, by a movable device according to an embodiment, the inclination of a distance sensor attached to the movable device, the method comprising the operations of: detecting an obstacle fixed in a working space of the movable device; moving the movable device toward the detected obstacle; in the process while the movable device moves, measuring a plurality of first distance values from the movable device to the obstacle by using the distance sensor; obtaining at least one second distance value indicating the movement distance by which the movable device has moved while measuring the plurality of first distance values by using odometry information of the movable device; and identifying the inclination state of the distance sensor on the basis of the measured plurality of first distance values and the obtained at least one second distance value.
