Abstract:
A movement assistance device (100) is adapted to easily fit on a person of any body shape while avoiding an increase in size, and is provided with: a left link mechanism (110L); a right link mechanism (110R); and a fastening member (140) fastened to the left link mechanism (110L) and the right link mechanism (110R). The left link mechanism (110L) includes a left thigh link (114L) attached to the left thigh portion, a left upper-body link (112L) attached to the upper-body left side, and a left actuator (117L). The right link mechanism (110R) includes a right thigh link (114R) attached to the right thigh portion, a right upper-body link (112R) attached to the upper-body right side, and a right actuator (117R). At least a part of the fastening member (140) is made of a soft material, and the relative positions of the left link mechanism (110L) and the right link mechanism (110R) are restricted by the part.
