Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to obtain a movement direction determination device capable of more accurately determining whether a person is moving in the direction of an object. The movement direction determination device according the present disclosure comprises: a vanishing point calculation unit that calculates, in an image, a vanishing point from the upper side and the lower side of the object to which the person moves; a motion vector calculation unit that calculates a motion vector indicating the movement direction of the person shown in the image; and a determination unit that determines whether the person is moving in the direction of the object on the basis of an angle formed by a line segment connecting the vanishing point and the starting point of the motion vector, and a line segment connecting the vanishing point and the end point of the motion vector.
