Abstract:
The present invention can calculate a movement distance with high accuracy on the basis of an acceleration acquired from an acceleration sensor. A mobile information terminal 1 performs gravity correction processing on the acceleration acquired from the acceleration sensor 18 to remove a component of the gravitational acceleration, calculates a distance by performing an integral process twice, and calculates, as a compression depth, the movement distance from the extracted start point and the extracted end point. Accordingly, a portable information terminal 1 can allow a rescuer performing cardiac massage to recognize a compression depth in an immediately preceding compression operation and to correct the compression depth to an appropriate level.
