Abstract:

In order to reduce the impact of magnetism on a step motor covered by an anti-magnetic plate in an electronic timepiece and a movement, the movement (3) of the timepiece (1) includes: the step motor (10) comprising a rotor (13), a stator (12) and a coil (11) in which a conductive wire is would around a coil winding core (11a); and the anti-magnetic plate (50) which covers at least part of the step motor (10); wherein the anti-magnetic plate (50) is provided with slits (51), (52) which are formed in parts thereof corresponding respectively to intersecting extension lines (16a), (16b) from both end portions (11c), (11d) of the coil winding core (11a), and which intersect the extension lines (16a), (16b), the slits (51), (52) being magnetic flow changing portions which change the flow of magnetism directed toward the coil winding core (11a) to a direction not directed toward the coil winding core (11a).
