Abstract:
This moving apparatus 1 is configured by including: an elastic tube 10 capable of being elastically deformed in cross section in accordance with an internal pressure applied by a fluid; a slider unit 20 capable of moving forward and backward in the longitudinal direction of the elastic tube 10 in accordance with a change in the cross-sectional shape of the elastic tube 10; a brake 30 provided in the slider unit 20, and capable of being deformed in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the elastic tube 10 to make sliding contact with an object; and a fluid regulation section 3 that supplies air to or discharges air from the inside of the elastic tube 10 via first and second fluid supply tubes 15, 16 which are in communication with the inside of the elastic tube 10 on the leading-end side and the base-end side thereof.
