Abstract:
A moving body information providing device for a vehicle, according to one embodiment, comprises: an image acquisition unit for acquiring peripheral images of a vehicle; an image extraction unit for extracting, from the peripheral images of the vehicle, a first image for an upper body of at least one moving body and/or a second image for a lower body of the at least one moving body; and a moving body information determination unit for determining whether a moving body is around the vehicle and/or the position of the moving body by using the extracted first image and/or the second image, wherein the image extraction unit extracts, as the first image, a 1-1 image for the whole upper body of the moving body and/or a 1-2 image for a part of the upper body of the moving body, and extracts, as the second image, a 2-1 image for the whole lower body of the moving body and/or a 2-2 image for a part of the lower body of the moving body.
