Abstract:
A moving body positioning system (100) according to the present disclosure is provided with: a moving body (10) including an array antenna (12) and a processing circuit (14); a plurality of beacons (20) which are provided in prescribed positions and each of which periodically or intermittently radiates a signal wave including identification information; and a storage device (40) which stores data associating the items of identification information with the respective positions of the plurality of beacons (20). The array antenna (12) includes a plurality of antenna elements, sequentially or simultaneously receives the signal waves radiated from each of the plurality of beacons (20), and outputs an array signal. The processing circuit reads the identification information from the received signal waves, and refers to the data to determine the position of at least one beacon that radiated the signal waves, on the basis of the identification information. The processing circuit estimates the arrival direction of the signal wave on the basis of the array signal, and performs positioning of the moving body on the basis of the position of the at least one beacon that radiated the signal wave and the estimated signal wave arrival direction.
