Abstract:
Provided is a moving body and a system for a moving body capable of determining whether or not the high beam of an oncoming vehicle is on. The moving body and system for the moving body have first and second sensors, a storage circuit, a calculation circuit, and a window portion. The first sensor has the function of detecting the position of the eyes of the driver of the moving body. The second sensor has the functions of detecting if there is an oncoming vehicle, determining if the high beam of the oncoming vehicle is on, and detecting the region illuminated by the high beam. The storage circuit has the function of storing the high beam illumination distance and the amount of reduction in the light transmittance of the window portion. The calculation circuit has the function of outputting to the window portion information relating to the region of the window portion where the light transmittance is to be changed, on the basis of the information detected by the first sensor and the second sensor and the information stored in the storage circuit. The window portion has the function of locally reducing light transmittance on the basis of the information output from the calculation circuit.
