Abstract:
A user rents an electric vehicle (EV) from a railway company and uses same for commuting to work or school between his or her home and a station. On the occasion of use, the user has an EV commuting pass read by a reader-writer for authentication and, when successfully authenticated, can use the EV. For use outside an effective period or outside a designated route, an additional fee is charged in accordance with a use time or distance. The charged additional fee is paid off when passing through an automatic ticket gate in a station.
