Abstract:
The present utility model belongs to the technical field of switches, and in particular relates to a moving contact assembly for a rotary switch. The moving contact assembly comprises a moving-contact rotating frame. The moving-contact rotating frame comprises a drive portion, a support portion, and an arc extinguishing portion. The drive portion is disposed at the center of the support portion. The arc extinguishing portion is disposed at the periphery of the support portion, and is provided with an arc extinguishing recess into which a fixed contact extends. The support portion is provided with at least one moving contact sleeved outside the drive portion, and part of the moving contact is located in the arc extinguishing recess. The arc extinguishing portion is fixedly provided with a magnet above and/or below the arc extinguishing recess. The magnet is disposed at the moving-contact rotating frame, and is positioned relative to the moving contact so as to rotate as the moving contact rotates, thereby producing improved arc-extinguishing effects compared to when the magnet is disposed at a housing unit.
