Abstract:
A moving image generation device (100) is provided with: a moving image acquisition unit (101) which acquires an input moving image composed of a plurality of pictures; a region segmentation unit (102) which segments each of the pictures composing the input moving image into a plurality of segmented regions and generates, as partial moving images, a plurality of groups of segmented regions associated among the pictures; a removal region determination unit (103) which determines, as a removal region, the region of some subjects among a plurality of subjects included in the input moving image; a blocked region complementation unit (105) which, with respect to each of the partial moving images, complements an image of a blocked region that is the region of other subjects blocked by said some subjects in the removal region, and superimposes and synthesizes the complemented plurality of partial moving images to thereby generate a complemented moving image; and a moving image output unit (106) which outputs the complemented moving image.
