Title:
MOVING IMAGE SENSOR, AND SUMMATION HAVING MOVEMENT ERROR DETECTION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/122198
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The invention relates to TDI moving image sensors and signal summation. The sensor comprises means for detecting a shift of the sensor relative to the image. The pixel matrix is divided, in the direction of the columns, into at least a first and a second sub-matrix (Ma, Mb). Additional column groups (GRa1, GRb1, GRa2, GRb2) are arranged on each side of each sub-matrix. The shifts in relative position (Db2-Da2, Db3-Da3, etc.) of said groups between the first and second sub-matrices are different from each other and enable a relative shift of the sensor to be detected during the movement. Specifically, the signals from the column groups of the same row and related to both sub-matrices, are compared. The group pair that provides the signals nearest to each other determines the probable shift of the sensor relative to the image: said shift is equal to the difference in relative position of said both groups.
