Abstract:
In order to enable easy mowing on a slope (inclined surface) (50), this mower (1) comprises a control device (25) that comprises: a first posture change unit (31) that changes the orientation of a machine body (2) by controlling a travel device (3), at least prior to causing the machine body (2) to travel along a reference line; a contour line calculation unit (32) that calculates a contour line (J1) for the slope when the machine body (2) is positioned on the slope, calculating same on the basis of a plurality of pitch angles detected by a posture detection unit (21) when the orientation of the machine body (2) is changed by the first posture change unit (31); a line setting unit (33) that sets the contour line (J1) calculated by the contour line calculation unit (32), as the reference line; and a second posture change unit (34) that changes the orientation of the machine body (2) so as to travel along the reference line set by the line setting unit (33).
