Abstract:
Provided is a method of manufacturing a vibration-insulating rubber bush assembly comprising a rubber bush having an outer sleeve made of synthetic resin and a metal part which retains the rubber bush with a remarkably higher force than known arts. Before the vibration-insulating rubber bush (10) having an outer sleeve (12) is pressed into an opening provided on the metal part (38) of a cylindrical shape in the axial direction, powder is applied on the outer surface of the sleeve that is made of a material harder than sleeve. The outer sleeve (12) is then pressed into the metal part (38) so that the powder stays between the outer surface of the sleeve and the inner surface of the opening of the part (38) giving a strong gripping force to the rubber bush assembly.
