Abstract:
A muffler structure for vehicle in which emission sound can be suppressed. A circumferential joint
(16A) where a plurality of constituent portions of a shell, i.e. an upper shell
(18) and a lower shell (20), are bonded at their circumferential joint flanges (18C,
20C), and an inter-isolation chamber joint (16B) where the upper shell (18) and
the lower shell (20) are bonded at the inter-isolation chamber joint flanges
(18D, 20D) so as to section a space located on the inside of the circumferential joint
(16A) into a plurality of isolation chambers (12, 14) arranged in parallel along
the gas flow direction, are formed in the muffler shell (16) of a muffle (10) for
vehicle..
