Abstract:
The exhaust muffler for internal combustion engines, especially automobile engines consists of a heat exchanger (3) placed in a housing (1) and a coaxially located silencing rotor (4) placed on a shaft (2). Pipes (13) are connected to the housing (1), which bring exhaust fumes to the chamber (17) of the heat exchanger (3), and on the other side of the housing there are pipes (7) discharging the fumes. Above the heat exchanger (3) on the side where hot fumes are brought in there is a tube (14) with an installed overpressure valve (15) bringing cold compressed air along the outer rear side of the housing (1) to the lower section of the heat exchanger (3) form the side with the pipes (13). A tube (19) with an overpressure valve (16) is attached to the other end of the heat exchanger (3) connecting the energy gaining apparatus (21) to the heat exchanger (3). The energy gaining apparatus (21), compressor (8), and generator (11) are placed on a shaft (5).
