Abstract:
A muffler is provided with a shell, a pipe, and a separator for partitioning the space inside the shell; the separator has a concave part that, together with the shell, forms an insertion space allowing the pipe to pass through when the separator is installed in the shell, a flange being formed in the outer edge part of the separator including the concave part; and the pipe is arranged so that at least the portion passed through the insertion space comes into contact with the inner wall surface of the shell and the flange formed in the concave part.
