Abstract:
The application provides a multi-air interface (AI) communication method and device. The method is applicable to a mobile terminal supporting plural types of AIs, and resolves a BSR transmission problem, a PHR reporting problem, and a DRX problem in a multi-AI environment. The method resolving the BSR transmission problem in the multi-AI environment is provided to enable a base station to accurately allocate, according to BSRs transmitted over various AIs and by a mobile terminal, radio resources to the mobile terminal. The method resolving the PHR reporting problem in the multi-AI environment is provided to enable a base station to accurately allocate radio resources to a mobile terminal. The method resolving the DRX problem in the multi-AI environment is provided to facilitate power saving of a mobile terminal.
