Abstract:
According to the present invention, a semi-floating bearing (multi-arc bearing) 13 comprises: a radial bearing surface 13d including a plurality of circular arc surfaces 37 that are formed on the inner peripheral surface of a main body 13a, have mutually different centers A of curvature, and are disposed adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction of the main body 13a; and axial-direction grooves 39 that are formed in the radial bearing surface 13d, extend in the axial direction of a shaft 15, and, in a range from boundary portions BP of the plurality of circular arc surfaces 37 to a central position in the circumferential direction of the circular arc surfaces 37, the axial-direction grooves are disposed in positions where a center position Cp of the grooves in the circumferential direction is offset rearward in the rotational direction of the shaft 15 from the boundary portions BP.
