Abstract:

A multi-arm single molecular weight polyethylene glycol and an active derivative thereof, used for drug modification, effectively improving the solubility, stability, and immunogenicity of drugs; improving the absorption of the drugs in vivo, prolonging the half-life of the drugs, and improving bioavailability, enhancing efficacy, and reducing side effects of the drugs. The gel formed by the multi-arm single molecular weight polyethylene glycol active derivative can be used for the preparation of controlled release drugs, to prolong the action time of the drugs, to reduce the number of administrations, and to improve patient compliance.
