Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a multi-AZ arbitration system and method, which are used for reducing the probability of a brain-split between AZs, so as to ensure the high reliability of services. The arbitration system comprises an arbitration module and M AZs, each AZ comprising a detection module and a plurality of service nodes, and M being an integer greater than 2. The M AZs are used for running at least one application and providing at least one service for each application; and the detection module of each AZ is used for sending detection information to the arbitration module. The arbitration module is used for: receiving an arbitration policy configured by a user and receiving the detection information from the M detection modules; determining network states between the M AZs on the basis of the detection information from the M detection modules; and determining, on the basis of the network states and the arbitration policy, an AZ where a master node for providing services for an application of a user is located, and an AZ where a standby node is located.
