Abstract:
A multi-branch skip processing apparatus and method, and a processor, which are used for solving the problem of an existing multi-branch skip processing apparatus wasting a TCAM storage space. The multi-branch skip processing apparatus comprises: a computational unit (131) used for acquiring a determination result corresponding to a branch skip condition according to a computational relationship of each branch skip condition in a multi-branch skip structure, and storing the determination result of each branch skip condition in a predicate register (14), wherein the determination result is 0 or 1, and the multi-branch skip structure comprises multiple branch skip conditions; and a branch skip unit (132) used for determining a target address according to a storage base address of the multi-branch skip structure and the determination results of all the branch skip conditions in the multi-branch skip structure stored in the predicate register (14), wherein the target address comprises index information of a branch to be executed of the multi-branch skip structure.
