Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a multi-component copolymer that is used to produce a rubber product such as a tire or a crosslinked rubber composition having excellent crack resistance and low heat generation while maintaining high weather resistance. A further objective is to provide a rubber composition that includes said multi-component copolymer, a crosslinked rubber composition that is obtained by crosslinking said rubber composition, and a rubber product and tire that use said rubber composition or said crosslinked rubber composition. This multi-component copolymer, which contains a conjugated diene unit, a non-conjugated olefin unit, and an aromatic vinyl unit, is characterized in that the main chain comprises only an acyclic structure, and the aromatic vinyl unit content is at most 5 mol% of the entire multi-component copolymer.
