Abstract:
In the present invention, air-intake ports (17, 18) include second ports (18) configured so that the flow rate of gas passing therethrough is adjusted by an SVC (80). First and second branching passages (44b, 44c) are connected in the cylinder-bank direction with a space therebetween, and when a surge tank (38) is viewed in the cylinder-axis-direction, the first and second branching passages are connected to the surge tank (38) on extending lines (L1, L2) that extend from the upstream end of independent passages (392) connected to the second ports (18) toward the side opposite the cylinders (11).
