Abstract:
Provided is a multi-deck elevator wherein a plurality of cages are disposed vertically in-line within a cage device frame. The cages include at least one moveable cage that can be moved vertically with respect to the cage device frame. The cage device frame is furnished with at least one cage vertical-moving device that is situated above the corresponding moveable cage, and that vertically moves the corresponding moveable cage, independently from the adjacent cage. The cage vertical-moving device has a driving machine furnished to the cage device frame, a rotating link rotated by the driving machine, and a connecting link for rotatably connecting the rotating link and the corresponding moveable cage.
