Abstract:
A multi-directional input device (100) that comprises: an operation lever (120) that can be shifted into a plurality of shift positions; and a lock part (130) that can be switched between a locked state that restricts shifting and an unlocked state that makes shifting possible. The operation lever (120) includes: a knob (122) that is held by an operator; a switch (124) that performs switching between the locked state and the unlocked state; and a rotational support part (125) that rotatably supports the switch (124) on the knob (122). The switch (124) can rotate around the rotational support part (125) in: a rotational direction so as to approach the knob (122); and the direction opposite the rotational direction. In response to rotation of the switch (124) in the rotational direction, the lock part switches to the unlocked state.
