Abstract:
A multi-directional input device 100 that comprises: a first sliding surface 151-3 and a second sliding surface 152-3 that form at least one portion of a virtual sphere; a rotary body 150 that includes a housing part 152-4 that is recessed from the outside toward the inside of the virtual sphere; a support body 130 that slidably supports the first sliding surface 151-3 and the second sliding surface 152-3 and thereby rotatably supports the rotary body 150; an actuator 160 that is at least partially housed inside the housing part 152-4; a cam part 132-4 that contacts the actuator 160; a second elastic member 172 that is between the rotary body 150 and the actuator 160 and impels the actuator 160 toward the cam part; and an operation lever 120 that rotates with the rotary body 150 and can be shifted into a plurality of shift positions.
