Prior Art

The prior art involves ramps which are picked up and carried by the user after folding. This is a disadvantage for the user. Due to materials used in production, the ramp's weight may be more than a single person can carry and carrying the ramp may be dangerous for human health due to design. This causes both individuals without disabilities and individuals with disabilities experience difficulties. The prior involves the manufacturing and delivery of ramps in desired length upon the order from the user. This prevents the user and the supplier from adjusting the length and width of the ramp.

In the prior art, profiles with open rear face are used in production of ramps. This causes the user to sustain injuries from sharp edges of the profile which contact with fingers while folding or opening the ramp.

In the prior art, stabilizer legs used in ramps do not provide a safe balance. The prior art involves solutions for above mentioned problems related to disabled access ramps and other ramps.

An example is the patent application numbered US2003182740 (A1) and titled "Loading ramp device which rolls up for convenient storage", which was developed to use for disabled access ramps and other ramps. This application presents a method which allows the user to load wheelchairs and utility vehicles into the back load carrying portion of larger vehicles such as pickup trucks easily. Besides, the ramp mentioned in this patent application can be rolled up when not used for easy and compact storage. However, the ramp mentioned in this patent application has a complex structure, which leads to a more difficult production process and increased costs. Also, the ramp is manufactured in desired dimension and does not offer adjustable length. The width cannot be adjusted by the user as well. Rear faces of profiles are open in the said ramp. This can cause users to jam their hands when opening and closing the ramp. The ramp mentioned in this patent application does not have support legs and wheels. This prevents the user move safely on the ramp and requires the user to lift the ramp and carry the weight. Given the above mentioned shortcomings, it is seen that the patent file numbered US2003182740 (A1 ) is different from our invention.

Another example is the patent application numbered US2006214456 (A1) and titled "Roll up ramp system", which was developed to use for disabled access ramps and other ramps. This application involves a ramp system which can be rolled up for convenient storage and facilitates transition between a first elevation and a second higher elevation such as the tailgate of a vehicle, the landing associated with a flight of stairs or the top of a loading dock. The manufacturing of the ramp mentioned in this patent file is simpler. However, it cannot respond to different needs related to size. The ramp mentioned in this patent application does not have support legs and wheels. Also, the ramp does not have handles. This prevents the user move safely on the ramp and requires the user to lift the ramp and carry the weight. When the above mentioned patent file numbered US2006214456 (A1 ) is examined, it is seen that the patent application is different than our invention and cannot offer an exact solution to problems. Another example is the patent application numbered US2006150347 (A1) and titled "Ramp", which was developed to use for disabled access ramps and other ramps. This application involves a ramp suitable for rollerbladers, skateboarders, snowboarders, trick cyclists, mountain boarders and the like. The ramp system mentioned in this patent application has support legs. However, these support legs are intended for creating a more inclined surface, providing more acceleration for skateboarders. The ramp mentioned in this patent application has no barriers on the sides due to its intended use. Also, the ramp cannot be fixed to the floor. The above mentioned patent file numbered US2006150347 (A1 ) and our invention have different intended uses. Besides, it is seen that the patent file numbered US2006150347 (A1 ) and our invention are elementally different.

Another example is the patent application numbered US6928959 (B1)and titled "Multi-segmented deployable arched ramp", which was developed to use for disabled access ramps and other ramps. This application involves a ramp intended for load bearing structures which allow for easy and effective loading and access. The ramp mentioned in this application does not have wheels and has a complex structure. When the above mentioned patent file numbered US6928959 (B1 ) is examined and compared with our invention, it is seen that there are structural and elemental differences.

Another example is the patent application numbered US2006123568 (A1) and titled "Vehicle ramp", which was developed to use for disabled access ramps and other ramps. This application involves an apparatus and method relating to use as a ramp or a platform, and more particularly, relating to a ramp or platform for a vehicle. The ramp mentioned in this application allows for loading All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) or other wheeled units and apparatus into some vehicles and trucks. The system requires using two ramps to load a unit into a truck. In other words, the ramp mentioned in the application is not expandable. This requires users to keep two ramps available depending on their needs, which increases costs. Besides, the ramp does not have hands or barriers on lateral surfaces to prevent dropping. This may cause the user to drop the unit during loading. Given the above mentioned shortcomings and differences, it is seen that the patent application numbered US2006123568 (A1 ) is different from our invention.

To conclude, the multi folding mobile disabled access ramp is required due to above mentioned deficits and inadequateness of solutions for existing problems. Short Description of The Invention

The present invention aims to provide a practical, safe, easy and affordable solution for accessibility for the disabled and is relating to the multi folding mobile disabled access ramp which responds to all above mentioned needs, eliminates all disadvantages and offers some additional advantages.

Anti-slip feature, easy installation, portability, reliability and inexpensiveness are important features for disabled access ramps. Thus, the invention aims to provide practical, easy and affordable solutions related to accessibility for the disabled.

The primary purpose of the invention is to enable the user transport the ramp by moving it on the ground without the need for lifting and carrying. Wheels placed on the module junction points of the ramp are located where the ramp contacts with the ground when ramp is folded, which allows for moving the ramp on the ground without lifting.

One of the purposes of the invention is to allow countries comply with disabled access standards. Different countries have different disabled access standards and different needs related to areas of use. In this case, the multi folding mobile disabled access ramp can easily be bring into compliance with required standards by the manufacturer, the end user or the intermediary between the two in a short time with their own means. Also, the ramp can be adjusted to different lengths with shorter and longer modules and different widths with narrower and larger modules depending on the area of use.

Instead of two legs on the right and the left of the ramp, the portable support legs used to provide a minimum carrying capacity of 350 kg in ramps longer than 250 cm as well have a H shape as a single piece structure in our multi folding mobile disabled access ramp, which allows for eliminating loss of balance between the right side and the left side of the ramp. The use H-shaped support legs instead of staged height adjustment allows for millimetric height adjustment by turning ground profiles to the left or right. Thus, our invention which can be used on different floor structures solve problems by preventing loss of balance which may occur on two independent support legs.

The aluminum ground carrying profiles located in the middle of the multi folding mobile disabled access ramp have a fully closed structure, which prevents users from hurting their fingers. In this way, the safety of use is ensured.

Our invention can be adjusted to different lengths and widths with little effort to comply with different standards and respond to different needs and can be used in more areas. Thus, a portable and affordable export product with 40% price advantage which can respond to needs of every market is obtained.
