Abstract:
A multi-layer coating film provided with a colored base coating film and a brilliant base coating film formed on the colored base coating film, wherein the value of the hue angle h in an chromaticity diagram of an L*C*h color system is 30° to 70°, and X and Y are 80 or more and 140 or more, respectively, in which X = [(C*45)2+(C*75)2]1/2 and Y = [(L*15)2+(C*15)2]1/2+[(L*25)2+(C*25)2]1/2. (In the formulae, C*15, C*25, C*45 and C*75 represent chroma values of the multi-layer coating film at acceptance angles of 15 degrees, 25 degrees, 45 degrees and 75 degrees, respectively, relative to specular reflection light of light emitted at an incident angle of 45 degrees in the direction of the incident light; and L*15 and L*25 represent brightness values of the multi-layer coating film as measured under the same conditions.)
