Abstract:
A multi-layer slat of bamboo window blind and method for making same. The slat comprises
two layers of rotary-cutting bamboo single plate (21, 22), at least a stuffing
layer (23) between two layers of rotary-cutting bamboo single plate, and the
rotary-cutting bamboo single plate and the stuffing layer are bonded by adhesive.
The production method comprises following steps: rotarablely cutting the big
bamboo plate into fine rotary-cutting bamboo single plates, trimming the bamboo
single plate to desired width, and putting them with the stuffing into mould to
hot-press forming and glueing; or rotatablely cutting the big bamboo plate which
is formed by glueing and pressing into fine rotary-cutting bamboo single plates,
pressing and glueing the first rotary-cutting layer, the stuffing layer and
the second rotary-cutting layer in turn, then trimming them to slats of desired
size. The invention is simple, it saves raw materials and improves window blind
multiformity.
