A multi media output apparatus includes a file accumulation unit for accumulating a plurality of files, a multi media file selection unit (111) for selecting multi media files from the accumulated files, a selection time storage unit (132) for correlating and storing the selected time with a multi media file, a multi media file specification unit (112) for accepting an input to specify any of the selected multi media files, a specification time storage unit (133) for correlating and storing the specified time with a multi media file, a reproduction start position decision unit (113) for deciding an output start position of the multi media file according tot the time which has elapsed from the selection of the specified multi media file to the specification time, and a multi media file output unit (114) for outputting the specified multi media file from the decided output start position. Accordingly, it is possible to pleasantly zap multi media files.
