Abstract:
A multi-pivot coupling device for motor vehicles is provided, which comprises a suspension system consisting of a york (1) and two arms (2), and a main member. The york (1) is constructed in form of an inverted "U" and pivotly mounted on a chassis by at least seven pin-joints each allowing for restrained motion in one degree of freedom. The main member has curved ends and faces downwardly to receive the two arms (2). It can ease swiveling and decrease turning radius based on the above configuration.
