Abstract:
Provided are a multi-pole connector and a multi-pole connector set that enhance the shielding property of a signal terminal and suppress unnecessary coupling and radiation/incidence of electromagnetic noise. The multi-pole connector 101 comprises: a first signal terminal 11; a first ground terminal; an insulation member 10 that holds the first signal terminal and the first ground terminal 13; and an external terminal 15 that is disposed along the outer edge of the insulation member 10. The first signal terminal 11 and the first ground terminal 13 are mounting parts which are arranged side by side in one direction parallel to the X axis, extend in a direction parallel to the Y axis orthogonal to the one direction, and are mounted by connecting ends thereof to a mounting electrode on a circuit board. When viewed from a direction parallel to the Z axis that is orthogonal to the direction parallel to the X axis and orthogonal to the direction parallel to the Y axis, a mounting part 11M of the first signal terminal 11 is located inside an arrangement region of an external terminal 15. When viewed from a direction parallel to the Z axis, a mounting part 13M of the first ground terminal 13 is located outside the mounting part of the first signal terminal.
