A multi-purpose desk lamp for students. The desk lamp comprises a placement base (1), a lamp pole (2) and an illuminating lamp assembly (3), which are correspondingly provided and connected, wherein the top of the placement base (1) is fixedly connected to the bottom end of the lamp pole (2); the bottom of the illuminating lamp assembly (3) is correspondingly connected to the top end of the lamp pole (2); the lamp pole (2) is a pole body that is telescopic and can bend; the placement base (1) is a box body; the placement base (1) comprises a first partition cavity (6), a second partition cavity (4) and a third partition cavity (5), which are vertically provided; the first partition cavity (6), the second partition cavity (4) and the third partition cavity (5) are partitioned by two cavity partitioning plates arranged inside the placement base (1); an electrical apparatus for supplying electric energy to the illuminating lamp assembly (3) is accommodated inside the first partition cavity (6); the top of the second partition cavity (4) is provided with an opening; and the third partition cavity (5) is provided with a closed cover (52). The first partition cavity (6), the second partition cavity (4) and the third partition cavity (5) are respectively used for realizing different purposes, thereby facilitating the actual use by a user.
