Disclosed in the present invention is a multi-purpose jig for a communication interface, a vertical support being vertically provided on one side of a base and the lower end of the vertical support being fixed to the base; a mainboard fixing device is provided on the upper side of the base, a mainboard pressing plate being horizontally provided above the mainboard fixing device, the mainboard pressing plate being provided with a through hole fitted with an ejector pin mechanism, and the ejector pin mechanism being fixed in the through hole on the mainboard pressing plate; two vertical sliding rods are vertically provided at two sides of the mainboard pressing plate, the lower end of each vertical sliding rod being fixed to the base, the upper end of each vertical sliding rod being fixed to a sliding rod support, and the sliding rod support being fixed to the vertical support; the two sides of the mainboard pressing plate are provided with through holes fitted with the vertical sliding rods; and the mainboard pressing plate is sleeved on the vertical sliding rods by means of the through holes and can slide up and down along the vertical sliding rods, and the mainboard pressing plate is connected to upper and lower driving mechanisms, so as to be driven by the upper and lower driving mechanisms to slide along the vertical sliding rods. The present invention saves costs and also ensures data security.
