Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a multi-sensor target detection method and apparatus, an electronic device and a storage medium. The method comprises: determining first target detection results acquired respectively by at least two types of sensors, each target detection result comprising a confidence level and a spatial position, and the spatial position being represented by a target center point coordinate and a size; on the basis of the first target detection result acquired by each sensor, respectively performing confidence level fusion and spatial position fusion so as to obtain a fused confidence level and a fused spatial position; and according to the fused confidence level and the fused spatial position, determining a second target detection result, so as to execute an autonomous driving operation. The influence of limitations of a single type of sensor on target detection precision is solved, complementary fusion of different types of sensors is realized and target detection accuracy is improved.
