Abstract:
The present invention relates to a multi-signal actuator and a purpose thereof is to provide a multi-signal actuator which, in place of a needle selection drum, can perform knitting and can be installed in a narrow space. The multi-signal actuator comprises: a fixing shaft extending in a longitudinal direction; a plurality of operating pieces coupled to the fixing shaft at a constant pitch; and a plurality of electromagnets disposed corresponding to the operating pieces so as to enable the operating pieces to perform angular motion at a predetermined angle, wherein each of the operating pieces includes an operating unit formed at one end thereof, centering on the fixing shaft, and a signal detecting unit formed at the other side thereof, and the operating pieces are operated by signals selectively transferred from the electromagnets to the signal detecting units.
