Abstract:
In order to suppress the generation of water mist when compressed air is cooled, this multi-stage supercharging system (1) is equipped with a low-pressure-side first supercharger (2), an intercooler (3) that cools the air discharged from the first supercharger (2), a high-pressure-side second supercharger (4) that compresses the cooled discharge air, and a control device (5). The control device (5) is equipped with: an information acquisition unit that acquires, as input information, the intake air temperature and the intake air humidity of the first supercharger (2), as well as the intake pressure and the discharge pressure of the first supercharger; a water vapor partial pressure calculation unit that uses the intake air temperature and the intake air humidity of the first supercharger (2), as well as the intake pressure and the discharge pressure of the first supercharger (2), as parameters for calculating the water vapor partial pressure of the discharge air from the first supercharger (2); a target temperature setting unit that sets, as a target temperature, the temperature at which the water vapor partial pressure calculated by the water vapor partial pressure calculation unit reaches saturation water vapor pressure; and a valve opening degree control unit that controls the intercooler (3) such that the intake air temperature of the second supercharger (4) meets or exceeds the target temperature.
