Abstract:
A multi -tenant buffer management method and server, the method comprises: predicting a future buffer hit ratio of a target tenant by preset rules according to the history buffer hit ratio of the target tenant in the multi-tenant within a preset history time period (S201); comparing the future buffer hit ratio with the expected buffer hit ratio of the target tenant (S202); if the future buffer hit ratio is greater than the expected buffer hit ratio, calculating a first capacity by a first preset algorithm according to a difference value between the future buffer hit ratio and the first preset buffer hit ratio, and releasing a data page from the target buffer of the target tenant in accordance with the first capacity (S203); if the future buffer hit ratio is less than the expected buffer hit ratio, calculating a second capacity by a second preset algorithm according to a difference value between the second preset buffer hit ratio and the future buffer hit ratio, and adding a data page to the target buffer in accordance with the second capacity (S204). The above method dynamically adjusts the buffer capacity of the target tenant.
