The present application is applied to the technical field of sales terminals, and provides a multi-touch data input method and apparatus, a sales terminal, and a readable storage medium. The method comprises: when a preset touch event is detected, entering a secure input mode; when a preset double tap event is detected within a preset period of time, determining target information according to the preset double tap event; determining corresponding target data according to the target information and storing same; and after detecting that input is completed, uploading the target data to an application layer and exiting the secure input mode. In the present application, a secure chip supports and processes a multi-touch signal of a touch screen, so that a data input operation is implemented on the basis of software logic without the aid of a braille physical component, thereby reducing the device cost of the sales terminal, increasing usability of the sales terminal, and increasing both the security and efficiency of a password input operation for a visually impaired user.
