Abstract:
The present invention relates to a multi-touch display device and a touch recognition method thereof. The touch recognition method comprises the steps of: sensing a first touch on a display panel by at least two fingers of a user; recognizing a plurality of touch positions of the first touch as an initial input; estimating a position of the user on the basis of the initial input; setting a plurality of touch areas on the display panel on the basis of the position of the user; sensing a second touch on the display panel and recognizing the second touch as temporary coordinates; determining which of the plurality of touch areas the temporary coordinates are positioned in; determining a correction direction and a correction amount for the temporary coordinates on the basis of the determination result; and determining final coordinates of the second touch by applying the correction direction and the correction amount to the temporary coordinates.
