Abstract:
Disclosed are a multi-view video streaming system capable of preventing disconnection between screens when a view moves while reducing a bandwidth required for streaming a multi-view video, and a method for providing the same. According to one aspect of the present invention, a method for providing a multi-view video streaming system for streaming a multi-view video including a plurality of individual view videos photographed from different views to a user terminal is provided. The method comprises: (a) a step in which the multi-view video streaming system generates a bulk stream corresponding to a main individual view video stream being displayed on the user terminal, wherein the bulk stream includes the main individual view video stream, a predetermined first number of first direction adjacent individual view streams which is adjacent to the main individual view video stream in a first direction, and a predetermined second number of second direction adjacent individual view streams which is adjacent to the main individual view video stream in a second direction, the second direction being opposite to the first direction; and (b) a step in which the multi-view video streaming system streams the generated bulk stream to the user terminal.
