Abstract:
The present application discloses a multi-wavelength modulation-demodulation structure, a photon emission device, and a photon receiving device, pertaining to the field of quantum communications and used for increasing the integration level of QKD systems. The multi-wavelength modulation-demodulation structure comprises: an unequal-arm interferometer comprising a long arm, the long arm of the unequal-arm interferometer having multiple single-wavelength modems connected in series, and each of the single-wavelength modems being used for modulation or demodulation of photons having a specific wavelength. When the multi-wavelength modulation-demodulation structure is used for modulation, the single-wavelength modems modulate one dimension of photons having the specific wavelength to specific quantum states. When the multi-wavelength modulation-demodulation structure is used for demodulation, the single-wavelength modems demodulate the quantum states of photons in the same dimension having the specific wavelength. Embodiments of the present application are applicable to quantum communications.
