Abstract:
There is provided a plate specifically a multi-well plate equipped with a mechanism to facilitate determination of the amount of a fluid added to or removed from a well in the plate. Specifically it foresees a balance integrated in the frame of the plate and capable of determining the difference in mass before and after filling the wells. Other embodiments foresee also a heating and cooling device to be associated with the plate and the plate to have removable wells. Other embodiments are also described.
