Abstract:
[Problem] To allow a faulty wiring factor to be determined quickly and accurately. [Solution] This multiaxial motor drive system has: multiple motors (100) each equipped with an encoder (102); a high-order control unit (200) that outputs a motor control command; and a multiaxial motor drive device (300) that drives the multiple motors (100) on the basis of the motor control command. The multiaxial motor drive device (300) has: multiple drive units (303) that are individually connected to corresponding motors (100) and supply electric power so as to drive the motors (100); and an integrated control unit (302) that sequentially supplies electric power to the respective motors (100) via the drive units (303) in order to determine the presence/absence of faulty wiring at least of motor wiring (401), which connects the drive units (303) with the motors (100), or of detector wiring (402) from the encoders (102) with respect to each drive unit (303) on the basis of detection signals from the encoders (102).
