Abstract:
Signals, which are transmitted from a plurality of transmitter apparatuses and then propagated via respective propagation paths, are received by an antenna part (120) and then frequency-converted by a radio receiving part (121) to a frequency band for which A/D conversion can be effected. Converted digital signals from an A/D converting part (122) are then supplied to a synchronizing part (123), in which OFDM symbol synchronizations are established, then to a GI removing part (124), in which the guard intervals are removed, then to an S/P converting part (125), and then to an FFT part (126) in which the signals are separated for respective subcarriers. A pilot extracting part (127) separates the pilot signals from the information signals, whereby the pilot signals are sent to a code multiplying/phase rotating part (10), while the information signals are sent to a propagation path compensating part (132). The code multiplying/phase rotating part (10) subjects the received pilot signals to respective code multiplications and then to respective different phase rotations with respect to the respective codes. The code multiplying/phase rotating part includes code multiplying parts the number of which is the same as the number of signals to be simultaneously separated and in which the respective received pilot signals are multiplied by the respective complex conjugates of the respective codes. At this moment, information for identifying codes to be multiplexed is sent, as control information, from a control part (13). After thus multiplying the respective received pilot signals by the respective complex conjugates of the respective codes notified of by the control part, the code multiplying/phase rotating part (10) subjects the respective pilot signals as multiplied by the respective complex conjugates of the respective codes to the respective phase rotations.
