Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application is a multicast message processing method. The method of the embodiments of the present application comprises: a first network node receiving first multicast messages, the first network node starting a trickle timer corresponding to the first multicast messages; the first network node determining, whether the number Z1 of the first multicast messages received in a first trickle period before a sending time T1 is less than or equal to a first redundancy constant K1, and if Z1 is less than or equal to K1, the first network node broadcasting the first multicast messages; whether the number Z2 of the first multicast messages received in a second trickle period is greater than or equal to a second redundancy constant K2, K2 being an integer equal to the number of neighbor network nodes; if Z2 is greater than or equal to K2, the first network node stopping broadcasting the first multicast messages in the second trickle period. In the present application the redundancy constant is set to be an integer greater than or equal to the number of neighbor network nodes, saving network resources.
