Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of rubber preparation. Disclosed are a multicomponent copolymer, a preparation method therefor, and use thereof, and a halogenated branched butyl rubber, a preparation method therefor, and use thereof. The multicomponent copolymer has a general formula represented by formula (I): R1, R2, and R3 are polymer chain segments, and their ends comprise structural units derived from conjugated dienes; R1 comprises a styrene structural unit and a butadiene structural unit; R2 comprises a chain segment represented by formula (II); R3 comprises a chain segment represented by formula (III); wherein formula (A) is a styrene chain segment, and X is a halogen. Using the multicomponent coplolymer as a grafting agent to prepare a halogenated branched butyl rubber can improve the saturation of the halogenated branched butyl rubber, significantly reduce the extrusion swelling effect, accelerate vulcanization, improve resistance to ozone aging, improve airtightness, and achieve a balance between the aging property, the product size stability, and the vulcanization processing performance of the highly branched, highly saturated branched butyl rubber.
